NCT - Preventative Maintenance Micro-Grants
The Preventative Maintenance Micro-Grant Programme is open to applications.
It's so important to keep you church or chapel building in good condition. Regular maintenance is one way of making sure you can prevent expensive repair bills.
Sometimes it may be hard to find the money to carry out maintenance work. So If the cost of booking maintenance services is a problem, the National Churches Trust, with its partner the Pilgrim Trust, can offer grants towards the cost of your building's maintenance services. You could receive up to 50% of the cost of works (excl. VAT) up to a maximum grant of £500. The cost of your service must not exceed £1,000 (excl VAT). Please see our Foundation Programme for project costs over £1,000.
Churches can apply for a Preventative Maintenance Micro-Grant if they book a service for work direct to their church building through our  MaintenanceBooker website. Services include rainwater goods maintenance, asbestos removal, lightning protection system repairs, masonry repairs, lime mortar repointing and high level maintenance.Â
Grants can not be awarded to works to a detached building or items within the churchyard, including tree surgery and tree works.
Applications from churches booking their first service through MaintenanceBooker, with small congregations, or limited financial means, will be prioritised.
